Jerk Chicken Grill Sandwich Courtesy Of: Sysco Corporation Jerk Chicken Grill Sandwich 24 1 qt. Clubhouse Caribbean Jerk Seasoning 12 5 oz. each Sysco Classic boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved 24 each Sysco Imperial mild cheddar cheese slices 24 each Sysco Classic sesame Kaiser rolls 24 each Sysco Imperial fresh tomatoes, sliced 12 oz. Sysco Natural cleaned and cored lettuce Jerk Seasoning Mix 8 oz. Sysco Imperial green onions, diced 2-1/2 tbsp. Sysco Imperial ground thyme 4 tsp. Sysco Imperial/McCormick salt 4 tsp. Clubhouse ground allspice 4 tsp. Sysco Imperial/McCormick ground black pepper 4 tsp. Sysco Imperial/McCormick ground paprika 2 tsp Sugar 2 tsp Sysco Imperial/McCormick ground cinnamon 2 tsp Sysco Imperial/McCormick spice pepper cayenne 1 tsp Sysco Imperial/McCormick spice pepper nutmeg 1/2cup Water 1. Prepare Jerk Seasoning Mix. 2. Spread chicken on both sides with Jerk Seasoning Mix and arrange in pan. Cover; chill at least 2 hours.
3. For each serving: Grill or broil one marinated breast half 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove chicken and melt 1 slice of cheese atop meat. Arrange on bottom of Kaiser roll; plate with top on side. Garnish plate with 1 slice of the tomato and 1 lettuce leaf, or serve tomato and lettuce on sandwich.
4. Jerk Seasoning Mix: In food processor, combine onions, green onions, thyme, salt, allspice, pepper, paprika, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne and nutmeg.
5. Process until minced.
6. Add 1/2 cup water and process until blended.
7. Cover; chill until needed.
