For Canadian operating subsidiaries and affiliates


Protecting the privacy of our customers and the confidentiality of information which they provide to us has always been and will continue to be a top priority of Sysco Corp. As part of our commitment to protecting our customers’ privacy, we have adopted this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") for all of our Canadian operating subsidiaries and affiliates which explains our information privacy practices. 1. Collection of Information

Personal Information
"Personal Information" is information, regardless of format, that is personally identifiable to an individual or which enables someone to identify that individual. The name, title, business address or business telephone of an employee of an organization is not considered Personal Information. Information about a company is also generally not considered Personal Information. However, in accordance with our long-standing practices, Sysco treats information about corporate customers as confidential. The Personal Information that we collect from customers may include their name (if the customer is an individual), address, credit history, personal worth, and similar information concerning a customer’s personal guarantor, and on-going account information, including a customer’s product ordering and repayment history.

Non Identifiable Information
"Non-Identifiable Information" is information that cannot be associated with or traced back to a specific individual. For example, Non-Identifiable Information may include information about your visit to our web site, your Internet Protocol address, operating system, web browser software or the domain from which you accessed the Internet.

Like many companies, we use "cookie" technology on our Web site. These cookies may tell us whether you have visited our site before or are a new visitor and what material on our site you have viewed. These cookies also enable the sending of e-mail messages from our Web site. The cookies we use do not collect any personally identifying information about you or provide us with any way to contact you, and the cookies do not extract any information from your computer. 2. Use and Disclosure of Information

Sysco will retain your Personal Information and use it only to administer your customer account, conduct transactions, respond to your requests, customize future interactions, improve our services, and communicate with you. In addition, we may, from time to time, use your Personal Information to contact you about changes or enhancements to Sysco products and services and to market new products or services.

Sysco does not sell, rent or trade in Personal Information. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Sysco will not disclose your Personal Information unless you have been notified and consented to the disclosure. However, Sysco may disclose your Personal Information when authorized by you or when otherwise required or permitted by law.

Sysco may contract with outside organizations to perform specialized services such as to collect, use, analyze and otherwise process information, to bill or process payments, to fulfill and deliver orders, and perform other functions on our behalf. Our suppliers may, at times, receive, process or handle some of your Personal Information. Only the Personal Information necessary to perform the services under the contract is provided to the supplier. If you are a member or participant in an exchange, group purchasing organization, or other similar group, we may be required in our arrangements with that exchange, organization or group to deliver your transaction information and other data, including personally identifiable information, regardless of whether the information arises as a result of transactions through the exchange, organization or group or directly with us. You acknowledge that we have no responsibility or liability for any uses that such exchange, organization or group may make with respect to any such data. Rest assured that under Sysco contracts our suppliers may use such Personal Information only to carry out the contracted service and must not store or use the Personal Information for any other purpose. These Sysco contracts require that third party suppliers provide a level of protection for your Personal Information that is comparable to ours.

We will obtain your consent before Sysco uses or discloses your Personal Information for any purpose other than those stated in this Privacy Policy. Sysco may choose or be required to modify or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent amendment to this policy is shown at the top of this policy. If Sysco makes a significant change to this Privacy Policy a notice of the change will be distributed.
