 To achieve this, we plan to:

• Divert excess inventory from landfill and into the food recovery system to support hunger relief in communities.
• Donate to hunger relief and foodservice industry impact organizations as well as local communities through our Nourishing Neighbors™ program.
• Care for colleagues affected by natural disasters with immediate needs assistance.
• Empower colleagues to volunteer, including during annual global Purpose Month.

• Achieve Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Certification 

We donate food and partner with community organizations around the world to ensure food-insecure families receive heathly and nutrituous meals.

Sysco colleagues are passionate about helping others and volunteering in their communities. We launched a Global Volunteer Recognition Program to celebrate and recognize our employees and sites for serving thier communities.

We partner with many global, national and local charitable organizations to provide funds and aid in hunger relief. Through our signature Nourishing Neighbours program, a portion of proceeds from each Sysco branded case sold in local communities is donated back to charitable organizations in those communities.
