Our company roots have been based in Manitoba for decades through Serca Foodservice, Scott National and Codville making it a prominent food wholesaler in the Winnipeg area. Today Sysco services over 3000 customers in Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Saskatchewan with full-line distribution of all foodservice categories. Operating from our industry-leading, BRC Food Safety AA Rated distribution facility in Winnipeg, Sysco supplies food and non-food products to a wide variety of regional restaurants. We also supply businesses and industry locations, lodging establishments, governments offices, military complexes, healthcare and educational institutions, and numerous other foodservice providers that prepare meals outside the home.
Our Winnipeg facility is nearly 242,000sq ft. and includes:
Five-zone refrigeration to ensure that products are stored at the optimal temperature for safety and freshness.
An ammonia refrigeration system to maintain proper temperatures in our freezers and coolers
Over 8,000 unique items
A state of the art Culinary Centre comprising an experienced culinary team that works with customers on design, menu development, and implementation.
As part of our most recent expansion, we also worked closely with Manitoba Hydro on LED and motion sensor lighting initiatives to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible.
